PeopleWorks — Human Resources Consulting
PeopleWorks was born out of a passion for culture evolution; if you get culture right, everything else will follow. Lisa Shuster, Founder and President, was fascinated as a young business professional by what motivates people to do what they do — long before the concept of “employee engagement” caught on. Lisa spent her career creating engaged workplaces through intentional culture initiatives and progressive people practices. Following many years working within companies as an HR leader, Lisa recognized that many businesses and organizations did not have access to the necessary HR leadership to make them competitive from a recruiting, retention, and motivation standpoint — resulting in wasted time and money, disengagement and ultimately, the loss of valuable employees. For that reason, she launched PeopleWorks in 2016 to offer her knowledge, skill, and expertise as a human resources consultant, especially to small businesses.
Lisa believes you benefit from an engaged workforce when employees are clear on their purpose (organizationally and individually), are positioned in the right jobs with clearly defined outcomes, have the autonomy to achieve their results in the manner best suiting them, are appropriately incentivized, and have the opportunity to learn and grow.
This is what we are all about. PeopleWorks.
